Bye Bye Morons (2020)

When a woman is told she’s seriously ill, she decides to search for the child she was forced to abandon almost three decades ago. Her journey leads her to meet interesting characters: JB, a fifty-year-old man in the middle of a burn-out, and Mr. Blin, a blind archivist with an impressive enthusiasm. Together, they embark on an improbable quest.

Both a critical and commercial success, this madcap film was nominated at The Césars last year and won seven awards, including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Screenplay.

A Prophet (2009)

The Lead role played by Tahar Rahim, star of  The Mandalorian,  is a man that is caught between these cultures. On one side, he has his ancestry. On the other, he has the illusion of a future.

One of the best gangster movies of all time, this multi-award winning film is a great thriller.
